It seems that any way you look there is avocado incorporated into every dish. Here I decided to make avocado toast a little sweeter by adding mango to it. Avocados have some incredible benefits, just one cup contains 10 grams of fiber and 14 grams of monounsaturated fat. With this toast I wanted to add mango not just on top, but also incorporate it into the mashed avocado for another element. Below I added the recipe so everyone can try it!
Serving size: two pieces of avocado toast
Ingredients
- 1 medium avocado
- gluten free bread
- 1 fresh mango
- sea salt
- pepper
- shaved almonds
Instructions
- Put two pieces of the gluten free bread into the toaster
- Cut and mash the avocado, add a pinch of sea salt and pepper
- Finely cut 2 tablespoons of mango to add in with the mashed avocado
- Add the mashed avocado to the top of the toast
- Cut the rest of the mango into cubes to add to the top of the toast
- Finally just garnish the toast with the shaved almonds
